GATLINBURG, TENNESSEE

Joseph Caylor… I always tell people that the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is my first national park, and it's true. My earliest memories as a child usually involved my family going up there. I saw my first bear in the wild at this park, and it's a special place in my childhood memories and in my life today. It's America's most visited national park for a reason, and millions of other people have their own stories, and their own memories of the Great Smoky Mountains. I think of mine every time I revisit it, or just want to remember a simpler time in my life. I owe it to this park for that.
