James Romeo… It was a pleasant surprise to discover that Croft State Park offers more than I expected. The hiking trails are peaceful and the lake is beautiful. There are also boats available for rent. It is a place that can be exciting during an equestrian event, or relaxing on a quiet day. Horse owners can enjoy a quiet ride along the many miles of equestrian trails. It is certainly a park worth visiting.
Joseph Caylor… Just outside of the bustle of Spartanburg, South Carolina is Croft State Park. While it's probably best known as one of the most friendly equestrian parks in the state, it's also great for us humans who just want to relax and take in nature's beauty.
The real can't-miss of the park is the lake itself, which is beautiful and worth being beside it. Next time you are in or near Spartanburg, I highly recommend visiting for a way to recharge your senses.
