Joseph Caylor… The first thing you see when you visit Lincoln's Tomb, is the scale and size of the building itself. It's a fitting tribute to our country's 16th President, who was tragically killed at the end of the Civil War. The reminders of soldiers' and sailors' sacrifices as well as his role as Commander-in-Chief is not forgotten when you tour the tomb. Its impressive stonework and sculptures shouldn't be missed when you are there. In fact, make it a tour stop if you are ever in Springfield, Illinois.
